Standing on the mountainside of Brave Man Slope, you can survey Hong Kong, Dapeng Bay, Yantian Port and Shatoujiao, where you are surrounded with the unrestrained and far-ranging seas and green mountain ranges.<\/p>\n<p>Because it is located close to the Shenzhen downtown area, Wutong has become the first choice of local hike. There are many routes up to the Wutong mountain. Here is the west trail which starts in Wudong Village.<\/p>\n<p>Route 1: Taishan brook (\u6cf0\u5c71\u6da7\uff09route: This route goes along side with Taishan brook. The trail is paved with stone steps. There are clear signs on all the junctions. The signs also list the distance to the peak and the current elevation. The last part of the trail is rather step. Because the dense forest that covers the trail, this is a recommended trail in the hot and humid summer.<\/p>\n<p>Route 2: This is the easiest route among all. Park ranger can drive up to Brave Man Sloop (\u597d\u6c49\u5761) which is 1,000 meters away from the peak. Visitors can walk the wide and paved road. The last kilometer is paved with stone steps and offers excellent view of the sea, Luo Hu district and Hongkong in the distance.<\/p>\n<p>Note: both routes start from Wutong Shan Village (\u68a7\u6850\u5c71\u6751)<\/p>\n<p>Difficulty: Moderate<br \/>\nLength: 7.1 miles \/ 11.4 km<br \/>\nDuration: Half day\/5-6 hours round trip<br \/>\nFamily Friendly <\/p>\n<p>Tips: The round trip takes 5-6 hours. The Route 2 can be used at night without a flash light. If you start late, you can use route 2 to get down the mountain.<\/p>\n<p>Transportation:<br \/>\nBy Bus: Taking No. 211 bus from downtown Luo Hu (\u7f57\u6e56), you can reach the Wutong Mountain Village (\u68a7\u6850\u5c71\u6751), which is the terminal station of the bus.
