    I imagine the signage you mention is only in Chinese? Is it nevertheless easy for non-Chinese speakers/readers to follow the path to the Wangling Pagoda?
    Also, do you have recommendations of other peaks near Beijing (max 2 hours by car/bus, not the Great Wall destinations) that are easy for good hikers who do not speak or read Chinese to climb without a guide? For example Lingshan or Songshan?
