Longmen Jian (Dragon Gate Valley)

Most of the scenic sites are newly build

Longmen Jian is a 15 km valley. It is located in the Mentougou district. It is in proximity to the Baihua Mountain and the Cuandixia Village (a village dated back to Ming dynasty). If you are already in the Mentougou district and have 2 hours to spare, you can visit this valley.

Among many scenic spots around Beijing, Longmen Jian is not outstanding and often ignored even by local outdoor enthusiastic. However, that gives Longmen Jian its
